Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in New York to protect clients across commercial real estate and other settings. You will perform patrols, provide excellent customer service, and enforce site policies while remaining approachable for tenants and staff.

The role emphasizes a flexible schedule, the ability to adapt to different shifts, and a supportive team environment. Prior CPR/First Aid and basic computer use are preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular foot patrols of building interiors and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions and incidents per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate with property management and Allied Universal leadership.
