Job summary

Allied Universal® in Houston, TX, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at a financial institution location. You will provide customer service, perform routine and random patrols, monitor access points, and report incidents according to site procedures.

Qualifications include two years of security experience, one year of armed security or law enforcement, fluency in Spanish, a high school diploma, CPR (preferred), and a valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
