Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Rocky Mount, NC. You will patrol, deter security risks, and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes a welcoming environment and professional communication.

The position requires basic computer or tablet use, a high school diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Flexible daytime/night shifts are available, with shift options and a strong team culture.

Formación

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, patient-related disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and reporting unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
