Job summary

Allied Universal in Dunn, NC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol to protect patients, visitors and staff at healthcare locations. You will conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism while providing excellent customer service.

The role offers flexible day and night shifts, with a pay rate of $16.40 per hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are 18+, and can pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and assist with directions and reporting unusual conditions.
• Document observations and incidents in clear reports and communicate with site leadership or emergency responders.
