Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for an luxury apartment community in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on access control, resident safety, and exceptional customer service within a dynamic, people-first culture.

You will patrol the community, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and prepare incident reports for property management. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to earn through shift changes.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per law; drug screen where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to residential incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of apartment grounds, parking areas, and common spaces to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate information to property management and leadership.
