Job summary

OPS Security Group in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join our on-site team. You will patrol facilities, monitor CCTV, respond to emergencies, and provide high-end customer service while protecting people and property.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, security experience, and the ability to obtain state security licenses and required certifications. This is an on-site, part-time role with compensation of $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Minimum two years of security experience.
• Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good time management abilities.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Strong de-escalation skills and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high end customer service
• Responding to emergencies
• Deterring and preventing crime
• Performing ingress/egress control procedures
• Investigating incidents
• Completing daily logs and incident reports
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
• Building and maintaining rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
• De-escalating conflicts
• Monitoring CCTV cameras
• Performing other related duties as assigned
