Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking a Full Time Security Officer in Wilmington, DE to protect people, information and property while delivering superior customer service. The role emphasizes incident response, security patrols, and strong client relations in fast-paced environments.

The position requires a DE Yellow Guard Card, two years of security and customer service experience, and the ability to pass background checks and certifications. On-site work and competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• Two years of security experience.
• Basic computer skills (Email, MS Office, etc.).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient time management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent de-escalation skills.
• Proactive problem solving skills.
• Must be able to obtain state required security officer license.
• Ability to obtain OCAT, PATH, and PPBT certifications.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high end customer service.
• Responding to emergencies.
• Deterring and preventing crime.
• Performing ingress/egress control procedures.
• Investigating incidents.
• Completing daily logs and incident reports.
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols.
• Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers.
• De-escalating conflicts.
• Monitoring CCTV cameras.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
