Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screen at hire and random tests; federal government contracts apply.
• Must not have felonies or misdemeanors related to dishonesty or weapons.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk up to 8–12 hours and lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• Must be CPR, First Aid and AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must have good vision (20 feet) and hearing in loud environments.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Must be professional with strong customer service and integrity.
• Must complete trainings on time and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain a professional security presence in lobbies and reception areas.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas.
• Enforce access control and verify IDs.
• Respond to emergencies and provide CPR/First Aid/AED as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
