Job summary

DK Security, Inc. seeks a part-time Security Officer based in Logan, OH. You will protect client properties, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to emergencies.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to pass a drug screen. English fluency, CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain), and professional customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felonies or disqualifying misdemeanors related to dishonesty, etc.
• Able to stand 8–12 hours; lift at least 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: reflect positively on the company and assist clients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Observe and Report: stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: maintain a professional appearance and guard building lobbies and entrances.
• Security Officer: conduct foot/vehicle patrols as required.
• Access Control: ensure only authorized personnel access restricted areas; verify IDs.
