Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced position at the Quakertown site. This role offers flexible hours, the chance to earn more via additional shifts, and a path toward broader security responsibilities.

Pay rate is $17.46 per hour. Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and prior customer service experience, with a requirement for a background check and compliance with company

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License per AU policy requirements.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front-desk access protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in activities; verify identification and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate clearly with visitors and site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established emergency procedures.
• Monitor entry areas and security-related systems, report unusual activity or access concerns, and deter unauthorized entry.
