Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Grand Island, NE. This role offers reliable, fixed hours at a designated site with potential to earn more by taking additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with Saturday 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM as the schedule. Responsibilities include front desk coverage, access control, and visitor management at an educational location.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and maintain a professional presence while monitoring access to the educational location and assisting with visitor check-in procedures.
• Verify identification, issue visitor credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact emergency services and/or site leadership when required.
• Monitor front desk communications, receive and direct calls or inquiries, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
