Job summary

Allied Universal in Grand Island, NE seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Reception Driver to welcome students, staff, and visitors and monitor access at an educational location. The role includes front-desk duties, driving responsibilities, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a valid driver’s license; CPR certification is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with computers/tablets and able to pass a background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR certification is preferred by the employer.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Monitor access and verify credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and clearly.
• Observe front-desk activity and report concerns.
• Maintain logs and shift documentation with professional communication.
