Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Lobby Concierge in Omaha, NE. This part-time Enhanced role offers fixed shifts with anchor schedule and the option to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, screening, access control, and responding to incidents with professionalism. Prior security experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and vendor records.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide building information, and communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
