Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a security observer for client-site duties in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves patrolling, reporting, and enforcing site regulations to protect people and property. Work requires standing for most of the shift.

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 11pm. Starting pay is USD $18.00 per hour. Candidates must be 18+, have a High School diploma/GED, and hold a valid NJ SORA license; English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment; inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; manage entry.
• Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.
• Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Saturdays and Sundays 3pm-11pm

Pay Range

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
