Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer operating checkpoint patrols to protect clients in healthcare and other facilities. You will work a flexible schedule through the Claim a Shift platform, delivering professional customer service while following site procedures.

You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond calmly to incidents, and document observations for site leadership.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screening as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including public areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
