Allied Universal in Elkton, MD is seeking a part-time Security Officer Site Security to provide dependable coverage at a designated site, with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

This role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a pathway to full-time opportunities within a leading security services company. Minimum requirements include age 21+, a HS diploma, and a background check.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by following site protocols for restricted areas.
