Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Arrival to provide dependable hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

The role includes front desk duties, visitor management, access control, and incident reporting. Schedule is Tue/Wed/Thu 10:00 AM–6:00 PM with anchor shifts; pay is $17.50 per hour, offering a path to full-time with training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required as permissible by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government facility, following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor and manage the front desk area, greet visitors, verify IDs and appointments, and issue visitor credentials.
• Receive calls, maintain logs, and communicate information to designated personnel and responders.
• Respond to incidents calmly and according to reporting and escalation procedures.
• Deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry points and reporting concerns.
