Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston, MA. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM with a starting pay of $23.00 per hour, plus paid orientation and paid training.

The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings, identify prohibited items, and report concerns to site contacts.
• Verify access credentials and direct visitors per entry requirements and government protocols.
• Respond to incidents calmly following site procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and entry points.
