Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Badge Experience Patrol in Washington, DC. This flexible role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $24.44 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
