Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Washington, DC. This position offers flexible, reliable hours with anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $25.25 per hour. Two+ years of security experience, customer service skills, and CPR certification are preferred; background checks and drug screening are standard. Ideal for those seeking part-time work with progression toward full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21 (armed).
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing depends on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and directing guests as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with property management and Allied Universal leadership.
