Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Roving Patrol in Washington, DC. This role offers reliable, flexible hours with anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

The pay rate is $24.44 per hour, and the position supports part-time employment with pathways to more hours or full-time opportunities. Responsibilities include client service, site patrols, access monitoring, incident reporting, and guiding visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screening required as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff during security procedures and emergencies.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and inquiries while maintaining professionalism.
