Job summary

Allied Universal in Verona, MS is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol to monitor and protect manufacturing and industrial locations. You will support access control, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while using computer or tablet tools to document activities.

This role offers a part-time schedule with daytime and evening shifts. Minimum requirements include 18+ for unarmed roles and a high school diploma. Background checks and a drug screen are required by law.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter incidents and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify site contacts or responders as needed.
• Prepare daily activity reports and report maintenance or security concerns promptly.
