Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Credential Review in San Jose, CA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $26.00 per hour. The position provides part-time hours with potential to scale up to a full-time schedule, and requires a background check and standard security qualifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer/tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while conducting security procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; maintain logs and incident docs.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and emergencies; notify appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with county personnel and the public.
