Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Field Patrol to provide reliable security services at an assigned site. You will work a fixed anchor shift and may pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, with earnings opportunities and career growth within a leading security services organization.

The role emphasizes customer service, vigilant patrols, access control, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership, and support a professional, customer‑focused environment.
