Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA seeks a Security Officer Enhanced, Part Time, Unarmed, to provide dependable site coverage and warm customer service. The role offers a fixed shift and optional extra hours through the Earn More program, with on-going training and opportunities for advancement.

You will work a Sunday night shift and have the flexibility to pick-up additional shifts, supporting a stable income while gaining hands-on experience with a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks are required by law.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific policies; report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant security-related information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
