Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Service in San Francisco, CA. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to boost earnings, at a pay rate of $26.00 per hour.

The position supports part-time scheduling with potential progression toward full-time, encompassing customer service and security responsibilities at a retail site, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for suspicious behavior or potential policy violations, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities accurately, and communicate information to store management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
