Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response in Redondo Beach, CA. This role offers flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $20.25 per hour with a part-time schedule. The position includes a six‑month anchor shift commitment and benefits from our scheduling platform for extra shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where law allows.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and communicate information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, entrances, parking, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Document incidents and observations in reports with a professional presence at the location.
