Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Los Angeles, CA. The role offers flexible fixed shifts with anchor commitments and the chance to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our platform.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour, with a schedule including day and night shifts. It is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work with pathways to full-time hours and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public-service agencies as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.
