Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail distribution or industrial location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized activity or unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity through a professional presence and adherence to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
