Job summary

Allied Universal in West Hollywood, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable, flexible coverage and support a designated site with the option to pick up additional shifts.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with six months commitment and the potential to earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, while staying within a part-time schedule and pursuing a path toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; background check and drug screen are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and the public by following site procedures and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities and surrounding perimeters to identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and pursue emergency responses as directed.
• Monitor access points and assist visitors with directions and information.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security activities in reports and logs.
