Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced at Northampton, PA, offering flexible scheduling with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts across sites. The role focuses on access-control tasks, badge management, and customer service in a logistics setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control systems and badge management.
• Proficiency in using computers or tablets and basic software.
• Customer service experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by handling security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, the business, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and complete required documentation for incidents, visitor activity, access-control activity, and shift handoffs.
