Allied Universal in Northampton, PA, is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Door Security. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts across sites. You will ensure access control, badge management, and customer service at a logistics location.

Ideal candidates have access control and badge experience, strong computer skills, and a customer‑service focus. Minimum age 18+ for unarmed roles, with a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and delivery partners by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to help deter unauthorized entry, direct authorized drivers to designated areas, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
