Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time to provide dependable, flexible hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. The role offers fixed anchor shifts, the ability to claim extra shifts via our platform, and opportunities to transition to full-time, with a pay rate of $21.52 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution and follow security procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site rules.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate observations to relevant personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity.
