Allied Universal in Chicago, IL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed to support our banking-site operations. This role offers fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick-up extra shifts through a scheduling platform, providing reliable hours and competitive pay.

Pay rate is $27.57 per hour. The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and patrols across banking areas, with opportunities to grow into full-time roles and participate in our training programs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation, drug screen, and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Support a professional environment by helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
