Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the Corporate Office in New York, NY. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to earn more while gaining hands-on security experience.

Pay rate is $19.65 to $20.65 per hour. Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling, responding to incidents, and providing customer service to tenants and visitors, all while following site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per site procedures, maintaining logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify emergency services as directed.
• Report maintenance concerns and damages to designated personnel per procedures.
