Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Irving, TX. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and a program to claim additional shifts, so you can earn more while keeping a flexible, part‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, banking areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
