Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced (Part Time) in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on site-specific screening, customer service, and flexible hours designed to supplement income.

Pay is $17.22 per hour; fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts through a scheduling platform allow earnings growth and hands-on experience with a leading national security provider.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
• Screen packages, vehicles, personnel, and/or deliveries in accordance with established access-control and security-related procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping documentation as assigned, and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
