Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response to provide reliable site security with flexible hours and the possibility to pick up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The role includes fixed shift anchor, extra shifts via scheduling platform, customer service, patrols, access control, and incident response. Must have 1 year security experience; HS diploma; background check; drug screen; licensing as required.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver7s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
