Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced. This role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, providing reliable hours and opportunities to earn more while working toward a full‑time schedule.

You will deliver customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, screen people and belongings, monitor access points, and respond to incidents calmly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Screen persons, vehicles, shipments, packages, and belongings per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and documentation for entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and communicate concerns to site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of the location to deter unauthorized activity.
