Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Incident Assessment to provide security services at a manufacturing site, with a fixed anchor shift and options to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings.

Pay rate is $16.48 per hour. The role offers a DayTime 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM schedule, opportunities for growth to full-time, and access to training programs, benefits, and employee perks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, loading docks, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor activity, and deliveries per site requirements.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate to Allied Universal leadership.
