Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This role offers flexible weekend daytime hours and the chance to earn additional shifts through our scheduling platform while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

Responsibilities include customer service, monitoring access, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and documenting activities per site procedures. Eligibility requires 18+, HS diploma, and background checks where permitted.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and concerns with a calm, professional approach; notify leadership or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols across the site to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report hazards and policy violations.
• Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities accurately in site reports.
