Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Durham, NC. This role offers flexible fixed shifts with anchor scheduling and opportunities to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform.

The position is unarmed, part-time, and designed to provide reliable hours and potential advancement into full-time roles. Pay rate is $20.46 per hour, with shifts including DayTime and Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to pass background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Ability to maintain professional presence and customer service in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and assist with visitor directions and wayfinding.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly.
