Job summary

Allied Universal in Garner, NC is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Assistance to provide reliable site-based security and customer service. The role offers flexible shifts, a fixed anchor schedule, and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will respond to incidents, monitor access, perform patrols, and document observations. Requirements include supervisory experience, a high school diploma, and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, professional manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas across multiple sites.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management and contractor check-in procedures.
• Document observations and daily activities accurately, communicating findings to site leadership.
