Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Whitsett, NC. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed shift and optional additional shifts to boost earnings. Pay rate is $16.89 per hour, with Saturdays as scheduled shifts.

You’ll perform security procedures, patrols, access control, and incident response at a technology-focused site. This position emphasizes a six-month anchor shift commitment, opportunities to grow into full-time roles, and benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and incoming personnel.
