Job summary

Allied Universal in Collins, MS is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced (Unarmed) to provide access control, respond to incidents, and support site safety. The position offers reliable hours with the option to pick up extra shifts through the Earn More program.

You will carry out routine security duties, monitor access points, and maintain logs, while delivering professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
