Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Columbus, MS to provide reliable, flexible security coverage with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts. The role supports a dedicated site with meaningful hours and opportunities to earn more through the scheduling platform.

The position emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response, with a base schedule on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license may be required by policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at the site access points.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report security concerns.
• Control entry by checking in, issuing temporary credentials, and enforcing site rules.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify security concerns and support procedures.
