Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Communications in Chicago, IL. Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
