Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Assessment in Wood Dale, IL. This flexible role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts through a scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings while maintaining reliability and career growth.

Pay rate is $24.00 per hour. The position supports a path toward full-time hours and includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities to gain experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, communicate relevant information during shift handoffs, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.
