Job summary

Allied Universal in Carnegie, PA, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to support our industrial site with flexible evening shifts. You’ll provide customer service, enforce site policies, and handle incidents while earning income with a six-month anchor shift commitment.

You may also pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to boost earnings and gain experience across sites. This role offers part-time hours with potential to scale up toward 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel.
• Ability to respond calmly and document incidents clearly.
• Ability to conduct regular patrols and monitor access points per site policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity; verify credentials and follow site procedures for contractor, vendor, and delivery entry.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
