Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and building perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access-control concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner following site protocols and notifying leadership or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear reports and logs, and maintain a professional presence.
